Get ready for an adventure into a land full of stunning natural wonders. On this Icelandic yoga retreat we will practice yoga 1-2 times per day while enjoying an exciting itinerary of sights. You can relax and enjoy the ride while knowing that all trip details are handled by Jasmine and our local guides. All you need to do is arrive ready for an adventure! You can do as little or as much yoga as you like, and we welcome your partners and family to go at a pace that suits them.
YOGA INFO
Daily 26&2 yoga classes will be offered in addition to other complimentary sessions such as yin yoga and meditation. Our goal is to keep our bodies feeling great so that we can maximize our enjoyment of the many adventures we’ll go on!
Our yoga space will be warmed, but it will not be as hot as a traditional hot yoga room, nor are there mirrors. This is a great chance to feel your practice in different conditions if you usually practice in a hot studio. Check out this blog for some thoughts on practicing 26&2 outside the hot room.
ACCOMMODATION
During the retreat, we’ll stay in both Reykjavik (Iceland’s capital city) as well as in boutique hotels immersed in nature outside the city during this trip. All rooms offer comfort blended with Scandinavian efficiency and luxury. Bask in thoughtful extras such as heated towel racks, long tubs, and deep, comfortable beds after full days of yoga and exploring!
ACTIVITIES
During this Iceland yoga retreat, we will visit multiple beautiful sights such as waterfalls and natural hot springs. We’ll breathe in pristine air as we walk through through Iceland’s dramatic scenery and quaint villages.
We will start and finish our days with a yoga class (optional.) Note that the itinerary can vary slightly based on the weather.
FOOD
Daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner is included on most days.
There are healthy options for vegans, vegetarians, and meat eaters. Dietary needs can be accommodated if communicated in advance. We’ll have ample opportunity to sample traditional Icelandic fare.
