About Louise
A Bikram Yoga teacher for over eight years, Lou has had the opportunity to teach in New Zealand, Australia, Bali, Denmark, and France before founding her own studio in Réunion four years ago.
For Lou, Bikram Yoga is far more than just a discipline; it is a practice that has profoundly transformed her life. Convinced of its physical, mental, and emotional benefits, she now shares this method with passion, authenticity, and a commitment to high standards. Her teaching style combines discipline, precision, and kindness. She guides each student attentively, encouraging them to develop greater body awareness, cultivate presence, and explore their potential while respecting their own capabilities.
Through this training, Lou aims to pass on much more than a sequence of postures: she shares a philosophy, a life experience, and all the tools needed to become a competent, inspiring, and deeply human teacher.

Yes! It is ok to not have the desire to teach, although you'll still be expected to memorize the dialogue and teach your 3 classes during the training. It is very common for people to attend this training with only the intention to deepen their practice, and sometimes they change their mind after training and decide to begin teaching!
It's a good idea to arrive at training with a well established 26&2 practice and stamina for practicing in the heat, because at training you'll practice 2 hot classes per day. It doesn't matter what you are able in terms of postures- we'll help you take a step forward from wherever you are at.
Although we do not specifically teach you sequencing and timing for 60 and 75 minute hot yoga classes, you'll be equipped to do it after graduating. Learning the timing for a 90-minute Bikram class sets you up for success to be able to adapt the class for your home studio's needs.
We begin the day with a 26&2 class taught by someone in the teacher training, followed by a fuel break. We then come back for 3-4 hours of classroom work, lectures, and class feedback followed by our second class of the day. Expect very full days- it's a good idea to clear your schedule in order to use your break time for rest and recovery!
