everytime while getting into this posture, my
hips seem unaligned (which i notice only when i sneak a peak in the mirror if i am lucky) , and that’s when i am able to adjust. How can i make sure i am in correct hip alignment while getting my forehead to touch the knee?
I find that it’s key to make sure the hips are square to start and then focus on rotating the inner thighs inward towards each other as you come down to help maintain the stability of the core and hips. Then once your forehead is on the knee, it’s not the center of the forehead of the knee but rather the right side of the forehead on the right knee and vice versa. It definitely requires some very purposeful thought to maintain the hips square but the more your practice it, the easier it gets. Hope this helps!
